How to become a vendor to Mecon?

Mecon Limited of India is a public sector company which was established in 1959. The company provides engineering, consultancy and contracting services. Mecon today is supporting the Indian oil and gas industry by providing more business from foreign market and quality services. To become a verified vendor of the company, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the official e-tendering website of MECON Limited.
2. Scroll down the home page where you will find the Vendor Portal. Click on Vendor Registration under this category.

   

3. You will be directed to this link. Scroll down the page and you will find Click here to visit Vendor Registration page text at the bottom of the page, click on that.

   

   Post this, you will be directed to the Vendor Development Cell. Read the instructions given in General Instruction, Processing Charges and Address of Communication  pdf. This pdf is given at the top of the webpage.

4.  You will find a link for new registration for the oil/gas categories.
5. Apply for New registrations for oil and gas category only.

   

   Thereafter, you will be directed to an online form.

   

6. Fill in the required details and print your system generated Vendor Information Form (VIF) by clicking VIF Part-1&2 button.
7. Following this, you need to send the following documents:

• Print out of system generated VIF (Part-1 & 2) duly signed and stamped (three copies)
• Demand Draft/ Electronic transfer receipt as per mentioned against the respective category.
• If Small Scale Industry notarised hard copy of SSI certificate (not more than 2 years older)
• CDs (3 sets) containing all the enclosures & other supporting documents

8. Vendors seeking registration under Oil and Gas Category should send their application at Mecon Ltd, New Delhi.

Note: Failure to submit all documents along with online filled up ‘Vendor Information Form’ may result in rejection of the vendor registration application.
