Here are some simple steps to guide you through the job application process at Total:

1. To begin your journey, visit the official website of the company.
2. As you move your cursor on the ‘Jobseekers’ link given in the menu bar.
3. On the webpage that follows, click on the ‘Apply’ link written in large font.
4. Since you do not have an account on the job portal of the company yet, kindly click on ‘Create an account’ on the next page.
5. You can mark your agreement to the terms and conditions of the company by clicking on the ‘Agree’ button.
6. On the opened page, fill in your credentials. Select a question from the given list and answer the same.

   

7. You may set up your profile and make changes to your account by clicking on the ‘Candidate Zone’ link, given in the menu bar of the page.
8. By clicking on ‘Our Vocations’ link, you will be able to find offers as per your profession. Scroll down the page to see different job areas.
9. Click on ‘Find Out More’ button below the preferred title.
10. On the opened page, you may see the description of that particular job area. Scrolling down will let you see the ‘Click here’ option against the sentence ‘To find our latest offers’.
11. A pop-up asking for your language preference will appear.
12. Now, you will see a list of jobs available in the chosen job area. Kindly mark a tick against the job(s) appealing to you and then click on ‘Apply to Job(s)’ button.
13. A pop-up will appear asking you to enter your email address and password. Click on ‘Sign In’ button.
14. The opened page will let you get started with filling your application form by clicking on ‘Let’s get started’ button.
15. Kindly read the VIE (“Volontariat International en Entreprise”) guidelines given on the opened page. If you want to confirm your eligibility for a VIE, mark the radio button showing ‘Yes’, otherwise mark the radio button showing ‘No’. (Please make sure that you are above 18 years to be eligible for the VIE).
16. The current form gives you the provision to upload your Resume/CV.
17. Now, fill in your personal, educational and contact details.

    

18. The form gives you the provision of adding any other documents. Please make sure the numbers do not exceed 25.
19. In the next step, under additional information, you are required to fill your date of birth, nationality and the source from which you came to know about the company.
20. After completing all the steps, click on ‘Send my application’ button.
