How to apply for jobs at ONGC?

1. Visit the official website of ONGC to know about the current job opportunities. Use this link.
2. As the page loads, you will see a ‘Careers’ tab at the top of the page on the extreme right. Move your cursor to that tab and a list of options will drop down.
3. Choose ‘Recruitment Policy’ from the drop-down list and click on it. It will direct you to the next page.
4. On the next page, their recruitment methodology is described. Read it carefully. Also, various streams in which ONGC provides employment are also mentioned. The details of how to apply in the company are given separately on the same page.
5. Read and understand the Terms and Conditions of the company’s hiring procedure which is stated as: ‘Broad terms and conditions and general instructions which are specific to the advertised posts are incorporated in the advertisements/vacancy notification. Vacancies are notified or advertised as and when there is a manpower requirement for any discipline. The executives in ONGC are transferable to any of its Assets, Basins, Institutions, and Work-centers in India or abroad.’

   

6. Go through the pay scale table thoroughly given on the same page.
