A brief about Engineer’s India Limited (EIL)

Incorporated in the year 1965, Engineer’s India Limited (EIL) was bestowed with the Navratna status by the Government of India in the year 2014 owing to its commendable service in the refinery, petrochemicals engineering related sector.

EIL, with its head office in New Delhi and several overseas offices, has successfully commissioned more than 400 major projects and has to its credit over 5000 work assignments.

Recent Developments at EIL

EIL is known for taking up initiatives to lead the country with an example. No wonder, EIL adopted the Prime Minister’s Flagship Programs within a few days of its official release. EIL now proudly boasts of Make In India@EIL, Startup India@EIL, and Digital India@EIL as successful campaigns to register Indian (local) manufacturers with it.

1. EIL-Essel Partnership: In the month of July 2018 EIL in partnership with Subhash Chandra-led Essel Group announced the launch of 250 charging stations and 1000 battery swapping locations in 20 cities of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
2. Job Generation: Under the same initiative, EIL announced the creation of more than 50,000 jobs in the state of UP by the simultaneous deployment of 25,000 e-rickshaws.
