How to become a supplier to PetroSA?

PetroSA is South Africa’s National Oil Company. Suppliers can explore numerous business opportunities in the company. This blog will guide you through the process of becoming a supplier to PetroSA.

Here are a few simple steps for supplier registration:

1. Visit the official website of PetroSA.
2. Once you are on the website, you will see the Procurement tab on the homepage. Click on it to advance to the procurement portal by PetroSA.

3. When this webpage opens up, you can see an array of options on the left-hand side, as you’re a new user click on the New Registration link.
4. To access tenders and opportunities floated by PetroSA, you are required to register your company in two phases.
5. Phase 1 requires you to register on the Central Supplier Database Portal of South Africa.

6. For the first phase, follow these steps or click here.

7. If you require any assistance with Phase 1, please contact the CSD National support on 012 406 9222 or email csd@treasury.gov.za. You can also obtain additional Provisional support contact details by going to https://secure.csd.gov.za/Feedback/ProvincialContacts. On successful registration onto the CSD portal, you will receive an e-mail that will contain your CSD MAAA registration number.
8. Use your email and password to login the next time.
9. For the phase II of the registration process, click on this link. The page that opens up will ask you for your login details which you received after Phase I registration.

10. Post this, you will be directed to the PetroSA Supplier Database and complete your BEE registration.
11. Further, you will be asked to attach requisite documents. You can upload or delete documents by accessing the Manage Attachments tab on the portal.

Please note that PetroSA shall review your submission and would Approve or Disapprove it. Post-approval of your submission, you can directly login into the procurement portal and browse through a number of business opportunities.
